There’s not much to say about this, except that it’s one of the simplest, most delicious things that I eat several times a week. Not only does it taste good, but it’s good for you, too!

Today’s avo toast is just 12-grain brown bread, avocado slices, plus a sprinkling of kosher salt, pepper and some garlic powder.
Some variations: If I’m feeling indulgent, I may drizzle on some truffle oil, or sprinkle on some red pepper flakes for a bite.
