What’s better than happy hour on a cold, gloomy November day in Chicago? Happy hour at Roy’s Chicago, with it’s Hawaiian vibe, tropical cocktails and fusion food!
ALOHA HOUR is from 4:30-7pm (AND from 9pm-close!) and has it’s own menu, featuring select cocktails and appetizers. We’re not talking watered down drinks or tiny bites either. As far as cocktails go, the Mango Martini was a hit among the ladies, while the Drunken Mule was a crowd favorite. Here are some of the bites we enjoyed at Aloha Hour yesterday, starting with my favorite of them all.
SZECHUAN SPICED PORK RIBS | Smoked and Glazed in Roy’s Original Mongolian Sauce
EBI ROLL | Shrimp Tempura, Coconut, Cream Cheese, Mango, Avocadom Habanero Aioli Nitsume
GRILLED CHICKEN SKEWERS | grilled chicken, peanut sauce
LOBSTER POSTICKERS | Spicy Togarashi Miso Butter Sauce
ROY’S BLACKENED AHI TUNA | Spicy Soy Mustard
